Board of Directors
Melvin D. Booth, Board Member
Mr. Booth is a leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry
who helped launch MedImmune, Inc. and Human Genome Sciences. Mr.
Booth is on the Board of Directors of MedImmune, Inc. and served
as its President and Chief Operating Officer from 1998 to 2003.
Prior to MedImmune, Mr. Booth was President and Chief Operating
Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Human Genome Sciences.
William W. Crouse, Board Member
Mr. Crouse is an accomplished business leader who served as General
Partner of HealthCare Ventures Funds I through VI and is a Limited
Partner of HealthCare Ventures Fund VII.
Scott E. Deeter, Board Member

David Dwyer, Board Member
Mr. Dwyer is a General Partner and Founder of Vista Ventures (www.VistaVC.com),
a Colorado-based early and growth stage venture capital firm established in
2000. He has an extensive background in corporate law, M&A transactions and
debt and equity financings related to businesses of many types. For many years
he was engaged in the full time practice of law and contributed to the growth
of Dwyer, Huddleson, & Ray, P.C. into one of the premier law firms in Colorado.
He currently spends most of his time involved in the venture capital business;
however, he also provides legal services in connection with business transactions
for a limited number of legal clients.
William H. Rutter, Esq., Board Member
Mr. Rutter, an entrepreneur who has successfully developed a series
of companies in diverse business areas, was a partner with the Denver,
Colorado, law firm of Sherman and Howard.
William J. Rutter, Ph.D., Board Member
Dr. Rutter, co-founder of Chiron, is a member of the United States
National Academy of Science, and is one of the scientific pioneers
of biotechnology.
Thomas N. Urban, Chairman
Mr. Urban is a successful business leader who formerly served as
the long-term chairman, president, and CEO of Pioneer Hi-Bred International
Inc. Mr. Urban served as Chairman of the Carnegie Institute and
is on the Board of Directors of Divergence, LLC and Zygogen.
Pablo Valenzuela, Ph.D., Board Member
Dr. Valenzuela is a biotechnology pioneer, co-founder of Chiron,
and was instrumental in developing several Chiron products.
